It’s Vegan/Vegetarian Appetizers! Great Snack! High in fiber. Fries but not fried. The crunchiness and deliciousness of Masala Corn Fries make them irresistible. 

Masala Corn fries have become a favorite of my family.

The fiber in corn helps you stay full for longer between meals. It also feeds healthy bacteria in your digestive tract. Corn is rich in vitamin C. Corn also has smaller amounts of vitamins B, E, and K, along with minerals like magnesium and potassium.

Crispy Masala Corn Fries.


  • 6 Corn. (Bought a pack from Costco of 8 and used 6 of them for this recipe)

  • 1/3 cup Corn flour

  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour

  • ½ tsp to salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper powder

  • Water 2.5tbsp water.

  • 1tbsp oil

  • Ingredients for masala mixture:

  • 1 tsp dry mango powder (amchur)

  • 1 tsp red chili/paprika powder

  • 1tsp chat masala

  • ¼ tsp cumin powder

  • ¼ tsp black pepper powder

  • ½ tsp salt


  • Take 6 fresh sweet corn. Clean them and dry them completely.
  • Microwave each corn for 30 seconds so they are soft and helps to cut the corn.
  • Cut into two halves and then insert toothpick according to the length of your corn.
  • Push it from one side and separate them with the help of a knife.
  • Once all the corns are on toothpick.
  • Take a bowl. Add corn flour, all-purpose flour, salt, and black pepper powder. Add corn and 2.5tbsp water. Mix everything very well.
  • Add corn in the air-fry basket and air fry the corn for 15 minutes at 350 F.
  • While corn is getting ready, lets prepare the masala mixture for seasoning the corn. In a small bowl add dry mango powder (amchur), red chili/paprika powder, chat masala, cumin powder, black pepper powder, salt. Keep it aside.
  • Once the corn is air fried, add the masala mixture and 1 tbsp. oil so all the masala mixture is mixed very well.
  • Optional to add – When serving add lemon and chopped cilantro.
